Sony EyePad Patent Reveled : Recently Sony has been applied for a special patent “EyePad”. This is a thin flat device similar to the Tablet PC, positioning game entertainment devices input device. It is reported that the device is equipped with a main touch screen, has a six-axis motion sensor, manipulation of the control rod and multiple lighting edge. EyePad have good motion tracking capabilities, dynamic 3D motion control and virtual key technologies, and feedback to the PlayStation.
According to the description of the patent, EyePad also with a pair of stereoscopic projection in both ends of the diagonal line of the main touch screen. Which a projector can generate a field of view and virtual environments, another projector can generate real-time three-dimensional images, which EyePad can create two “depth map” complement each other, resulting in a space to create a three-dimensional graphics.
