Lava Iris 502 launched at $154.00, sports a 5-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera and runs on Android Jelly Bean

Continuing with its ‘Blockbuster Phoneday’ program where it launched the Iris 454 last week, Lava launched another phone yesterday. The latest device to be launched in the Iris-range of phones is the Iris 502.

The dual-SIM Iris 502 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and sports 5-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display. In the days when phones are being powered by at least a dual-core processor, the Iris 502 is surprisingly powered by only a single-core 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Other features included with the phone are a 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 2GB internal memory with a microSD slot for cards up to 32GB and a 2,000mAH battery.

The Iris 502 will compete with the likes of Karbonn Smart A111 and is available for buying on Flipkart for $154.00.
