Apple iPhone 5s vs Huawei Ascend P2 – Huawei has recently unveiled the Ascent P2 and that has let loose a flurry of rumors
and excitement throughout the cell phone world about what will be the
nemesis for this technologically advanced device. People have high
expectations from the iPhone 5S and are anticipating a lot of things from the device.
According to some trusted sources, the Apple iPhone 5S will
retain the previous phone’s design, and this means that the form factor
and the look and feel of the device will remain intact. The phone is
supposed to measure 7.6mm thin design that weighs 112 grams with a display screen of 4 inch.
The features on the iPhone 5S are not to be taken lightly either. There is this retina display
which promises to put in more vibrance on the phone and there are even
reports that Sharp’s patented IGZO technology might see the face in the
new phone. Of course, the OS is supposedly not being left out either,
and an iOS 7 is supposedly on the cards.

On the other end of the stick, the measurements of the Huawei Ascend P2 are 8.4 mm with a 4.7-inch 300 nits multi-touch screen display with pixel density of 315 ppi, which when compared to the iPhone 5S’ 326 ppi, is low. The Huawei has claimed that users will be able to access the Ascend P2 touchscreen even with using hand gloves, thanks to its Magic touch technology.

The real battle unfolds when both the giants announce the release dates for their flagship models. For Apple, the Release Date has to be somewhere between March & October 2013. Huawei however, has not been clear with the launch dates and the best guess is the latter half of the year 2013.
